While dating in college, founders Travis Monroe and Bridget Nelson Monroe were dubbed a “media power couple” for their excellence in the classroom. After moving to New York, the same title was bestowed upon them again for their work at international media and marketing outlets. After forming Mediamazing and relocating back to the Midwest, the media power couple now brings their experience and reputation to clients looking to get the most out of their media.
Bridget started her career in journalism, working as a writer, reporter, and fact-checker at the award-winning Reader’s Digest magazine in New York. Again and again, this storytelling and publishing background has proven invaluable in her career. While at Reader’s Digest, Bridget volunteered for nonprofit organizations, teaching herself a variety of digital skills to manage their websites and social media channels.
Her next position brought her to the digital marketing agency Digitas Health, where as a Content Strategist she combined her publishing and digital skills to manage websites for some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Most recently, Bridget was a Digital Strategist at Beehive PR, where she consulted on everything from website redesigns to social media and SEO for regional and national clients.
As Director of Strategy at Mediamazing, Bridget leads strategic planning for projects, ensuring that clients’ messaging and strategies are crystal clear on digital platforms.
Travis cut his teeth in production in New York, working in post production on a variety of shows that aired on ESPN, Fox Sports Network, and Showtime. Working alongside Emmy-winning producers and editors, he developed his skills as a storyteller and a communicator.
Prior to his sports work, Travis served as Head of Production for EtvMedia and its news website, www.forextv.com. Travis oversaw the visual overhaul of all the video newscasts, as well as played an integral part of the launch of the Japan sister site, www.forextv.jp.
Before returning to the Midwest, Travis served as Executive Director of MacDella Cooper Foundation, leading fundraising activities and planning high-profile events that attracted politicians and celebrities.
As President and Director of Production and Entertainment, Travis is the creative voice of video and event planning.
