State of Minnesota v. Derek Michael Chauvin - Behind the Lens for a Historic Court Case
The trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted in the death of George Floyd, was a historic court case that captured the nation's attention. It was also the first criminal trial in Minnesota to be entirely televised and the first in state court to be broadcast live. Over 23 million people tuned in to witness the verdict being read.
Mediamazing was on the ground from jury selection to verdict announcement, providing live hits as well as protest coverage and pressers for the network Law & Crime, a multi-platform channel with live trial coverage and true-crime/legal programming created by Dan Abrams.
It was a powerful experience to help document this historic event.
